Grandview Middle School continues to be recognized among the best in Missouri!

We are proud to share that Grandview Middle has earned a 2024–25 Growth Award in Mathematics from the PRiME Center at Saint Louis University—an honor given to schools demonstrating outstanding student growth.

This recognition builds on another incredible achievement: Grandview Middle was also ranked 19th in the state for English Language Arts growth (2022–2024), highlighting sustained success over multiple years.

Together, these honors showcase what makes Grandview special—consistent growth, strong instruction, and a commitment to helping every student succeed. From ELA to Math, our students are making gains, and our staff continues to lead the way with dedication and excellence.

This is a true team effort, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students, staff, and community for making it happen!

Beautiful weekend days in Eagle Nation call for getting outside and enjoying our campus! This weekend was the perfect time to try out the new pickleball courts, and they’re already getting plenty of use. Whether you're playing a competitive match or just learning the game, it's great to see our community taking advantage of these new courts. Grab a paddle, bring a friend, and come enjoy a game!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Tim Payton, a longtime member of the Grandview R-II family.

Tim joined Grandview in 1999 and served in the maintenance department, eventually becoming Director of Maintenance before retiring in 2020. For more than 20 years, Tim worked behind the scenes to take care of our buildings and grounds, helping ensure our students and staff had a safe and welcoming place to learn each day. His dedication to Grandview and quiet pride in his work made a lasting impact on our district.

Tim will be missed by many across the Grandview community. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

While the official day was yesterday, we don’t want to miss the opportunity to recognize and thank our incredible School Resource Officer, Deputy Richard, and his loyal partner, Zeus!

Deputy Richard does so much more than help keep our campus safe. He builds positive relationships with students, supports staff, mentors kids, and serves as a daily reminder that law enforcement is here to help and protect. His steady presence makes a difference every single day.

And of course, Zeus brings both professionalism and personality to our halls — always ready to work and always a favorite among students!

We are truly grateful for their service, dedication, and commitment to Eagle Nation.

If you see Deputy Richard or Zeus, be sure to give them a big thank you!
