Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, Grandview R-II will observe our second AMI Day due to the conditions of some back roads.

AMI Day – Tuesday, January 27

Due to winter weather, Grandview R-II will observe an AMI Day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27.

An AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) Day means students will complete assignments remotely instead of reporting to campus.

📚 Students should check their teachers’ directions and complete assigned work from home.
📧 Teachers will be available during regular school hours via email to assist students.

At the recent PD day Dr. Lause, our next superintendent, was on campus to get a lay of the land and to meet some of the staff. Here she is speaking to the middle school staff during their meeting.

Due to slippery road conditions the Grandview R-II School District will have a traditional snow day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 2.

Middle School basketball games for this evening 12/1 are cancelled. We are working on a makeup date.

Mrs. Smith is excited to offer new STEAM classes next semester! These classes are offered to students in grades 2-5. They will be held after school on Wednesdays until 4:30. The cost is $50 and includes 4 classes plus materials/equipment. The flyer and registration form are attached, or they can be picked up in the middle school office. Registration and payment are due before each class. There is a chance that classes will fill up, so if you're planning to sign your student up, please contact Mrs. Smith at smithj@grandviewr2.org ASAP. This would make a great Christmas gift!
