Message from Central Office:
I would like to personally apologize for the display of the Confederate and political flags during this year’s homecoming parade. The flags were not approved in any way by the District to be used on the float and were only added after the parade had begun and administration had inspected all entries. As a district and a community we try to remain apolitical and welcoming to all. I am deeply disappointed that this happened. I personally addressed the issue at the end of the parade and we are investigating the incident further. Just a quick reminder. Open house will be this Thursday, August 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Also remember that school will start on Tuesday August 23 for Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Eagle Introduction Night
We would like to invite all incoming freshmen to our Eagle Introduction Night.
We will be offering students building tours, club and activity information, and the opportunity to meet many of our coaches and sponsors.

August 17th-
Schedules, Computers, Parking Passes Times for picking up schedules, computers and parking passes are listed below. Parking passes are first come first serve, NO HOLDS, NO PHONE CALLS. All information must be complete on the parking form to get a parking pass. All information and parent signatures must be on the computer forms to get a computer. Forms can be found on the website. grandviewr2.org 12th grade ONLY -- 8:00 am - 9:00 am (Early Bird) 11th and 12th grade -- 9:01 am - 10:59 am 11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Closed for lunch - Doors will not be open 10th and 9th grade - 12:01 pm - 2:00 pm If you are not able to make this date and the times set you can get a schedule and parking passes during open house. Computers will not be handed out during open house. They will be handed out the first week of school with proper paperwork.

First Day of High School Fall Sport Practices
5/26-Due the the distinct possibility of inclement weather, the High School Graduation ceremony, Thursday. May 26, has been moved to the high school gym. The ceremony will still begin at 8:00 pm and the doors will open at 7:00 pm.

May 18th - Senior finals for 3rd, 7th and 8th hour
May 19th - Senior finals for 2nd, 4th and 6th hour/ 9th- 11th grade finals 2nd, 4th, 6h hour
May 20th - NO finals - ALL senior fines are due

May 23rd - Senior finals for 1st hour - make up finals that may have been missed - Seniors Last Day
9th- 11th grade finals 3rd, 7th and 8th hour
May 24th - Last Day of School - 9th - 11th grade final 1st hour - Awards 7th hour in the gym
Senior Awards Night at 6:30 pm in the HS gym
May 25th - Graduation practice and Senior Breakfast at 10:00 am
