Elementary Spring Picture Day
Thursday, April 2nd

Our 2nd graders are proving that powerful voices don’t have to wait! ✏️📣
Some might think students this young aren’t ready to take a stand, but their persuasive writing tells a different story. Through this Author’s celebration, our 2nd graders confidently shared their opinions, backed them up with reasons, and even connected their ideas to topics adults and leaders are discussing today.
From start to finish, they demonstrated strong writing, thoughtful research, and the courage to advocate for what they believe.
We are so proud of the growth, confidence, and critical thinking these students displayed. The future is bright, and it’s already speaking up! 💬✨

Grandview Elementary Students Continue a Tradition of Academic Excellence
Grandview Elementary is proud to celebrate the outstanding academic success of our third-grade students in both Mathematics and English Language Arts. Year after year, our third-grade classes demonstrate strong achievement and consistent growth, reflecting the dedication of our students, the commitment of our teachers, and the support of our families and community.
This success is not a one-time accomplishment. Grandview’s third-grade students and teachers have consistently performed at high levels over time. In fact, recent results place Grandview Elementary in second or third place among Jefferson County schools in both Math and ELA, competing alongside much larger districts and schools that operate on traditional five-day schedules.
This achievement reflects the strong instructional practices of our teachers, who work intentionally to create engaging lessons, provide targeted support, and challenge students to grow each day. Their dedication to helping every child succeed plays a key role in the continued success of our third-grade program.
We are incredibly proud of our third-grade students and teachers for continuing a tradition of excellence at Grandview Elementary. Their hard work and commitment serve as a great example of what can happen when a community works together to support student success.
