When the Lakeshore Learning truck pulled up to the building one teacher stated, I'm not sure if I am excited or overwhelmed. As the ten pallets were unloaded and piled into the preschool hallways the overwhelming feelings took over. Thanks to a wonderful team of helpers the overwhelming feeling turned into excitement as the classrooms started to take shape. Some volunteers assembled trikes for the new playground path, while others folded and broke down boxes to clean out the halls as they were unpacked. The day was nearly ten hours, but so much was accomplished.
Thank you to the teachers and helpers today. A huge thank you to Art's Gun and Sports Shop employees for taking time out of your day to move boxes and toys across the building. Your help is much appreciated!
We still have a few spots left in our preschool for 4-year-olds. If you have a 4-year-old and have not already registered for Grandview Preschool please call the elementary office next week. We can't wait to introduce these littles to school and a love of learning.
